This class was designed to cover the basics of piping buttercream to give students a variety of skills that can be applied to any sweet treat. This class is designed as a skills/technique class where no cake, cupcake or other treat is needed. Learn a variety of piping techniques featuring star, round and petal tips to create a classic assortment of borders, dots, beads, rosettes, shells and more.

• Icing Color – one color of student’s choice recommended
• 9 in. Angled Spatula
• 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags, 12 count
• 10 in. x 14 in. Cake Boards – for practicing techniques
• Decorating Tips 5, 12, 18, 32, 104
• Standard Couplers

Additional Supplies Needed from Home:
• Apron
• Scissors
• Disposable cloth or paper towels
• Toothpicks
• Small bottle of water (squeeze bottle recommended)
• Confectioner’s sugar (powdered sugar)
• Disposable cups or bowls for mixing icing (something with a lid)
• Silicone spatulas
• Damp cloth in plastic bag
• Gallon size plastic bags for cleanup
• 1 Recipe of buttercream icing or Wilton Ready-To-Use Decorator Icing
